[04: video] - I know you said he's just a dog astray

[The impact with the ground triggers the PCD's on button and the video flicks on. The camera has landed against a rock or something, giving it a skewed view of the sky, of skeletal trees and grey clouds. There's movement though, against the trees. A familiar figure, usually careless and flippant, with a pet name and some irritating compliment on his lips. This time, however, Thomas looked focused, and he moves with lean, predatory grace as the cavalry saber in his hands gleams silver. He's moving between the stand of anemic trees, sparring against invisible opponents, practicing or reliving some old encounter, every so often the saber biting through a tree limb to send it to the ground.

The feed continues in this vein for a few minutes, before a sweep of silver above the PCD sends a skeletal tree branch falling on top of the PCD, obscuring its view once more.]

That's okay, swords give you a bit of style, I think.

[Jack salutes back a little clumsily, but takes up the ready position as well.]

Born and raised, yep.

[He keeps the move slow, moving with human reflexes at a human pace, and advances on Jack, the stick held lightly in his hand.] Oh? Saying I don't have enough style as it is?

[And a laugh as he feigns to strike at Jack's stick practice sword] Think that makes me a cradle-robber.

I'm just saying you don't have a coat that makes you look half as good as mine does, darling. [Have a cheeky grin and a wink, and he's parrying (or attempting to) Thomas' strike.]

It makes Ianto one, too, then. [A beat.] Should be the other way round, though, really.

Oh? [Thomas stumbles at the mention of the coat but rolls with the misstep, and Jack's attempted parry lands a glancing blow on his shoulder.]

I'm not a big fan of coats. [a smirk.] They always seem to get in the way of being naked.

Oh, please. Who says you can't be naked underneath the coat? [And he'll be lunging for Thomas again.]

[He laughs and sidesteps Jack's lunge on light feet, twisting his body with the motion to bring his body forward, aiming for a tap at Jack's shoulder.]

I did that once. Had to swear never to do it again. Some people get possessive about their coats.

[Which hits, because -- well, Jack's not all that good at blocking yet.]

Darling, you're welcome to be naked in my coat any day.

[The blow lands a little harder than Jack might have expected from a human, but it's a stick, it probably won't leave much of a bruise.]

As long as you don't expect the bright red heels, sweetheart. Not doing that ever again. Supernatural or not, stilettos are murder.

[Jack doesn't mind bruises! He shrugs it off and lunges for Thomas again, grinning.]

Oh, trust me, I know. I'm never doing it again, either. ...Or pregnancy.

[If you were trying to distract him, Jack, it works. Thomas stumbles and Jack's lunge catches Thomas squarely in the chest.]

Pregnancy? [He winces and rubs at the spot where Jack's blow landed.] Now that sounds like a story.

[He laughs and lunges back into Jack's personal space yes this will end with everyone still clothed]

[Another warm liquid laugh as Thomas flutters his eyelashes at Jack.]
